I’m just wondering what kind of lense are you using with the 5D and about how much did the camera and lense cost together???…

The film crew in Seward Alaska are using the Canon 5D I love the quality that comes from these cams

The flags just needed to be tightened, which required two hands.
Counterweights would help for long shoots, but for short run-and-gun stuff, it works well. Much more comfortable than say a XL-H1.

its a solid rig……as your mattebox flag flops down and wiggles everywhere lol.
Looks good though, time to get some counterweights however

I honestly don’t know anymore. I’ve got about $15k invested in production equipment…but that’s across the board.

@NextWaveG same here, if the footage is not as what it was said to be i think im going to go with the canon 7D

Possibly. I’ll wait to see how the footage looks. I’m very interested in it, but I’ll have to see if my budget can afford it. Even though the body is affordable, a good assortment of prime lenses will set you back a decent amount.
